Welcome Centre Cleaner

The Rapid Re-accommodation Welcome Centre is a free service offering food, sleeping facilities and a high level of support to people who do not have any accommodation and otherwise would be sleeping rough. Volunteering as a cleaner for just one hour a week can help support this vital service.General responsibilities;
Change bedding;
Clean the bathroom including the floor;
Clean the surfaces in the room;
Bag up any belongings that have been left behind.

Our vision is that through Christian love in action homelessness will be reduced and vulnerable people empowered to live independently within society. Bethany operates services that take people from homelessness through to managing their own tenancy and building positive friendships.

Experience Required

Volunteers should; Have a keen sense of organisation and attention to detail; Be adaptable and able to take initiative as the role may vary week to week, and can be changeable. Be comfortable being around potentially challenging situations as the Welcome Centre can be busy and chaotic.

Training Details

Training will be given at induction and on an ongoing basis if necessary
