Volunteer Fundraiser – Responsible for supporting the club with income generation through the identification of suitable funding sources and the completion and submission of trust and grant applications. This will be a flexible volunteering opportunity with the core objective of increasing the club’s income in order to continue supporting the local children & young people. The role may extend to supporting more localised fundraising events and efforts, but this will be completely flexible.
About Edina Hibs Football Club
Edina Hibs are a youth football club based in the Niddrie & Craigmillar area of south east Edinburgh. Our vision is to provide quality and affordable Football to the children & young people of our local community, which sits in the top 5% most deprived areas of Scotland (SIMD), regardless of economic status.
Ideally, some experience of writing and submitting charitable fundraising applications. Knowledge of how to identify suitable funding sources and opportunities. Good written skills and a desire to make a massive difference to the lives of local children & young people in Craigmillar & Niddrie.
Induction training will be informal and will involve learning about the club history, visiting training and matches to meet other volunteers and an overview of the charitable aims and objectives. Ongoing support will be supplied by the club secretary who will support and supervise the volunteer.

Flexible - depending on volunteer availability and capacity
This is a home based opportunity and will be as flexible as possible. There may some attendance at meetings required occasionally, but these will be blended between "in person" and via video call.
