Working with our young cast, Creative team and Board, we are looking for someone to enhance and increase our online presence and boost audience interaction for our upcoming Fringe show, ‘Frozen – The Musical’.
With innovative ideas, you will be helping to create and schedule our social media content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
We ask for a minimum commitment to the end of August to ensure continuity and meaningful involvement in our social media work.
About Forth Children's Theatre SCIO
To give young people across Edinburgh an opportunity to perform on stage. No participation fee - meaning we are open to all 10 - 18year olds, regardless of social and economic background. Developing skills in singing, dancing and acting, we help grow confidence, team building and lasting friendships.
Experience Required
Essential: Good Communication Skills Knowledge of Social Media sites - particularly Facebook; Instagram and Tiktok. Ability to create exciting content which promotes audience engagement. Willingness to engage and work with young people in creating ideas and content. Strong organisational skills.
Training Details
An introduction to the Organisation and office space. An overview of our objectives and criteria for a successful media engagement plan
Location/Travel Details
Some visits to our rehearsals based at our office will be required. These are on Friday evenings and Sundays. Overall the role offers a flexible schedule that can be agreed to suit the volunteer’s availability. Our office is based at FORTH CHILDREN'S THEATRE MADELVIC HOUSE, GRANTON PARK AVENUE EDINBURGH EH5 1HS Occasionally we need a larger space for rehearsals closer to show week. These are mainly held in Edinburgh North, including our theatre venue at Broughton High School.
