Every week we host multiple drop-in volunteer sessions, open to all to learn new skills in the gardens, get involved in development projects across the site and join our growing community!
You can find all confirmed upcoming sessions on our website: https://gorgiecommunityfarm.co.uk/events/
Your involvement in planned activities is very flexible, you can be as active or relaxed as you like. There is no need to pre-book or attend full sessions, come along and enjoy as suits you best!
About Gorgie Community Farm
Gorgie Community Farm is a charitable organisation restoring and redeveloping a much-loved Edinburgh green space as a hub for wellbeing, sustainability and connection with nature. Since our efforts began in September 2025, a great deal of progress has been driven by our wonderful, diverse volunteer community, where all are welcome to get involved, learn, and grow together.
Experience Required
No pre-knowledge or skills required to get involved. If you have prior experience of gardening, DIY, or ideas for our space that you'd like to share - that's always welcome!
Training Details
All of our volunteering sessions are led by one of our lovely community gardeners, or a Trustee of the farm, who are always on hand to provide guidance for volunteers.
