Fundraising Officer

If you are interested in writing grant applications, establishing partnerships with local businesses or carrying out creative activities to raise funds, this opportunity is for you! Share your skills and learn the art of fundraising, communication strategies and event coordination.

About Meadows Festival Edinburgh

The MFA provides a free, community event, entirely run by volunteers, encouraging community engagement, providing opportunities for a diverse range of people, include people of all ages, providing a platform for career development through volunteering, encouraging sport, exercise and engagement with the arts, and to being environmentally sustainable.

Experience Required

A professional and friendly telephone manner. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work on your own initiative. Experience in fundraising activities is welcomed, though it is not a requirement. Commitment to work in compliance with policies and procedures.

Training Details

Be a part of something special as you work alongside our experienced Festival Trustees, guiding you with insights from decades of successful event management.

Flexibility & Commitment

Home-Based Volunteering;Flexible;Ad hoc

3hrs. per week until the festival date (1-2 June).

Location/Travel Details

The work will be mostly carried out from home; however, there might be a need to arrange in-person meetings in order to establish a good relationship with a potential funder/partner.
