Exhibition Visitor Assistant

Exhibition visitor assistance, the role is to be present during the exhibition opening hours to assist the Trust management in ensuring that visitors to the exhibition enjoy their experience. The Trust exhibition will be open daily from 15th September to 30th September 2019 in one of the large ground floor rooms in the French Institute in the Old Town of Edinburgh. The items being exhibited are Scottish Pottery from the Trust collection.

To promote the Arts and Craft movement in Scotland. To contribute for a wider understanding of our society through our activities and staging various exhibitions of international Arts and Crafts.

Experience Required

Good communication skill and a willingness to approach exhibition visitors.

Training Details

The induction for the exhibition will consist of a factsheet of the Victor Murphy Trust and the items on exhibit as a general overall topic. This will be followed at the exhibition location with the H&S awareness for the visitors.

Short Term Volunteering (3 months or less);Term Time

4 hours minimum during one or more days of the exhibition dates of 15th September to 30th September
