Baby Bank Assistant

Baby Bank Assistant working alongside our babybank co-ordinator required. Preparing bags of babybank provisions including nappies, formula milk, baby wipes and various other items for new born babies

About Community One Stop Shop

To provide advocacy and advice to local residents in an area of high deprivation and hardship. We support local people to take control of their finances and help maximise their income. We offer various services from our office including rent arrear surgery, police surgery, employability support and we recently launched our foodbank.

Experience Required

Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with some diverse ethnic minorities. An all round ability to have an empathetic approach to the role would also be a necessity.

Training Details

On the job training and general support wil be offered on an ongoing basis

Flexibility & Commitment

Flexible

4 hours per week for a 12 month period.

Location/Travel Details

The Community One Stop Shop is easily located and is a short 10 minute walk from where public transport drop off point is on the Calder Road Edinburgh. The bus routes that are available are as follows:- 7, 13, 15, 19, 25, X27 and X28
