The role involves sharing your experiences of living with psychosis with groups of participants to help facilitate creative training workshops aimed at raising awareness of the diversity of perspectives of psychosis. You will need good communication skills, lived experience of living with psychosis and willingness to share your experience with people from different backgrounds. A sense of commitment and willingness to travel locally are important.
About CAPS Independent Advocacy
CAPS is an independent advocacy organisation for people who use or have used mental health services. We are completely independent from the people who fund us and those who provide other services to the people we work with. We provide individual and collective advocacy in East Lothian and Midlothian. We also host several experience-led projects across Lothian.
