Advisory Board Member

Provide input and advice in your field of expertise in Scotland, Act as an ambassador and advocate for the charity supporting our work, Provide a good geographical spread across the relevant country, Available to meet for a minimum of 4 days a year at least twice a year. The Board, comprised of a chair and 5 to 9 members, will be appointed for up to 3 years initially and will meet formally at least twice a year.

We’ve been carrying out this vital work for over 65 years – last year alone we cared for over 40,000 people across the UK. We can’t do what we do without our supporters, only you can make sure we can continue caring for people living with a terminal illness across the UK.

Experience Required

Passionate, Enthusiastic, Able to commit, Experience of relevant fields eg palliative care, medical / nursing, NHS, raising funds, Active in local networks, able to influence, Strong interpersonal skills and willing to interact at all levels, Able to work as part of a team, Promote and demonstrate our values.
