Administration Assistant

Pain Concern needs a confident and experienced Administration Assistant to help its General Manager. Tasks include: Act as the first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the organisation, Answering telephone calls, Managing correspondence and emails, Diary management, Arrange meetings upon request, Booking transport and accommodation, Maintain office supplies.

Pain Concern is a charity providing information and support to people with pain and those who care for them, whether family, friends or healthcare professionals. For over 7 million people in the UK living with persistent pain is a part of everyday life. Although there is usually no cure, people who receive the appropriate treatment, information and support can manage their condition effectively.

Experience Required

Administrative experience, Strong IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Ability to interact with people and develop good working relationships, Ability to work well under pressure, Display good judgement and sensitivity as will be dealing with confidential information, Ability to multitask.

Training Details

The induction/training starts on the first day and is continuous

Pain Concern’s offices are located in the Safestore building near the Fort Kinnaird shopping centre. 62-66 Newcraighall Road Edinburgh, EH15 3HS


We pay travel to the office by the most cost effective means. Frequency is by agreement.
