Volunteer Youth Worker
We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to volunteer for our Junior Club, which runs on Tuesday evenings from 5.30pm until 7pm. Juniors is an open youth club, available to all young people in Leith aged 7-9. We deliver a variety of activities including cooking, sports, art and quizzes, and offer a safe space to talk to youth workers and volunteers. Junior Club is very popular, and volunteers can expect to have a fun and lively time! The Citadel Youth Centre has many other clubs and youth groups available, and volunteers are invited to apply for other groups if they are unable to attend Juniors.
Volunteer Gardener
Maintaining the surrounding garden areas involved in the mix of landscaping, plant care and cleanliness to keep the club grounds attractive, safe and welcoming year- round. The volunteers will take guidance from the greenkeeper.
Graphics & Design Volunteer
What you’ll do: Support the design of workbooks, training manuals and session materials. Refresh and redesign leaflets, posters and outreach resources. Create simple graphics, icons or illustrations. Ensure materials are accessible, culturally sensitive, and visually engaging. Prepare files for print and digital.
