MAP course

Course Details

  • When? Week 1 Wednesday 14th August 2024
  • Week 2 Wednesday 21st August 2024

  • Participants? Open to anyone aged 16+ who is either unemployed or, working 16hrs or less, or is in unstable work such as zero hours contracts
  • How Long? 10:00 to 13:00

The map (motivation, aspirations, progression) course is a series of workshops designed to help you improve your employability by building your confidence, self-esteem and communication skills.

It includes individual self-reflection, combined with group work, constructive questioning, discussion and feedback.

A workbook will be provided for you to complete during the course and in your own time.

The course will cover

  • Evaluation of your current situation and assessment of skills & values
  • Confidence and transferable skills
  • CVs and job interviews

Post course options

  • Individual one-to-one employability coaching
  • Help to secure volunteering and/or employment
