The digital world is growing bigger and different challenges and opportunities for the volunteering sector are arising with it. What is certainly sure is that digital communication is a must and it has become almost indispensable in all organisations.

One of the Edinburgh-based organisations that is doing great online communication is Vintage Vibes and we are so pleased to have Georgia Artus delivering an Evolve session about how digital communication can be used to engage with the community.

Georgia has worked with not for profits, social enterprises and charities for 10 years across the UK. She moved to Edinburgh 8 years ago and it immediately stole her heart – not only for its beauty but also the sense of community. Georgia has always volunteered in her spare time and currently volunteers with Contact the Elderly and Vintage Vibes.

Georgia became a Vintage Vibes volunteer in 2015 and took on Marketing and Development in May 2016.

Georgia has experience in community development, digital comms, event management, fundraising and operations, and loves nothing more than to throw herself into a project. She is thrilled to be able to work for a project that she is so passionate about and is looking forward to expanding our work tackling isolation and loneliness.*
