Finding volunteers through Volunteer Edinburgh is really simple. We’ve been recruiting volunteers for organisations in Edinburgh for almost 50 years. Advertising is simple and free and with over 69,000 web visitors annually and face to face contact with more than a thousand people it gives you unrivaled access to potential volunteers in Edinburgh.
Any voluntary, community or public sector organisation can register with us, all that we ask is that you have a look at Our Values and take a look at our Terms of Service. Once you are registered you can advertise as many opportunities as you wish.

Once you have registered with us review our Minimum Standards and make sure that your meet them. If you don’t then give us a call and we’ll be happy to advise you on what you need to do to comply. Community Taskforce Volunteers is a reactive service that aids people by offering trained volunteers to assist with practical tasks over a time-limited period. Our team of 400+ Community Taskforce Volunteers are ready and willing to help!
Anyone can ask for help, whether a friend, neighbour, relative or any professional. We will consider any request within Edinburgh, and if we can’t help, we will point you in the direction of an organisation that may be able to help. We always offer a unique prompt service.
