Support for local people
Our Neighbourhood Hubs aim to support local people into volunteer opportunities which contribute to their community, boost their employability and help them achieve work or training related goals. We do this by working one-to-one with clients to help them apply for suitable volunteer placements while offering any additional support to volunteers with individual needs such as mental health issues or a physical disability.
Support for local organisations
We also work with local charities and not-for-profit organisations to develop inspiring volunteer opportunities in the local area. We support them by providing advice, information and training on best practice in volunteering.
