Our popular Volunteer Organisers' e-Bulletin is for anyone involved in working with volunteers and gives you current news and information with a practical focus on recruiting, managing or supporting volunteers.
It is free to subscribe to and we send it out fortnightly to around 700 individuals in over 400 volunteer involving organisations.
We cover a wide range of topics including information on relevant regulations, news about consultations,admin matters, news on issues affecting volunteer management, sector developments, government initiatives and other relevant items. You can find out about, and get diary dates for training, conferences and events; and get informed of useful new and updated resources on the web.

We welcome relevant news and information from other agencies. All content submitted should be of interest primarily to volunteer involving organizations. Most subscribers to our e-bulletin are involved in some way in the management, promotion or co-ordination of volunteers. For example we welcome information about training, events, funding, legislation, consultations etc. where it is relevant to volunteers or volunteer management. We are also happy to advertise job vacancies in Edinburgh for organisations which involve volunteers.
We generally only accept advertisements from Volunteer Involving Organisations (registered charities, community groups and social enterprises). However if the service you are offering is of relevance and interest to the volunteering sector, then we can (subject to approval of text) include a small advert (usually 50-200 words) for the cost of £50 (discounts may be available for multiple submissions). Please submit information as plain text by email (we cannot include information sent as pdfs or jpegs) and ensure that content it is kept as relevant and concise as possible (ideally 50-200 words max). Please use templates below as a guide.
