Managing Volunteer with Additional Support Needs.

Volunteers come in all shapes and sizes and some also have support needs. This course is designed to show how that involving volunteers with additional support needs, wether because of mental health issues, disabilities or addictions can be done effectively, painlessly and most importantly will add real value to your volunteer programmes and your service delivery.

For over 25 years our Support and Advice Team have been working successfully to place and support hundreds of volunteers with a whole range of individual needs.  Using their expertise this course covers a range of topics ranging from how to ensure a safe volunteering framework and key issues in support and supervision when working with people with support needs.

Volunteers are your greatest asset and volunteers with support needs are no different.  Using case studies and scenarios based on our experience this course will help you have the skills to tap into a wealthy vein of volunteering talent.  It will help you to do this effectively, safely and successfully.
